It is a serene and beautiful temple with many monkeys around giving flashes of Lord Hanuman’s inclination towards Lord Ram. The temple located almost about 30 kms from Nagpur. It took almost 70 minutes to reach the place.
The story is that Lord Ram, Sita and Laxman rested here before going to Vanavas. It is on a hillock. You have to park the vehicle and go up by 100- 150 steps, not difficult. Be careful with monkeys. If you have food packets monkeys can snatch food. In fact, the monkeys will search your pockets for food. Mostly they are friendly and don’t harm anybody. The temple is very beautiful and from the top, you get a bird’s eye view of Ramtek. There is a small Hanuman temple as well.
